This continuous duty “three-position” solenoid example features a push-pull from a center position and allows for a tighter tolerance.
This continuous duty, three-position solenoid features a push-pull from a center position. When power is applied, the plunger extends; when power is removed, the plunger returns to the center position. If power is applied to an additional lead, the plunger retracts to a third position and holds until power is removed. The design allows for a tighter tolerance and eliminates the need to setup and adjust two springs.
