Miniature U-Frame Solenoid
This example of a continuous duty solenoid is miniature in size but with a relatively long stroke and high force.
This miniature solenoid originally mounted on the PC board of an infrared camera to aid in calibration. Since then, the solenoid has been used with a variety of cameras, blocking and filtering lenses for calibration. Miniature solenoids can be designed as constant current or latching, making them ideal for use in miniature relays, instrumentation, battery operated locks and medical equipment.
