Miniature Manual Reset Latching Solenoid

This latching solenoid example is manually actuated and holds without the use of power making it ideal for applications requiring low power consumption.

This latching solenoid is manually actuated from the de-latched to the latched position. Once in the latched position, a permanent magnet field is used to hold the solenoid in position. A short voltage or current pulse cancels the magnet field, and returns the solenoid to the de-latched position. Strokes and forces are flexible depending upon solenoid size.
