D-Frame Solenoid
This solenoid designed to work in the air intake stream of a vehicle and can be designed as a constant current or latching solenoid.
This d-frame solenoid was designed to work in the air intake stream of a motorcycle application. The unit has a rather long stroke for a device of this size and yet current draw is low. It can handle fairly high levels of contamination and also continues operation under high shock and vibration loads. The solenoid is extremely small for the force generated and speed of transition time achieved between open and closed.
